AEW X NJPW – Forbidden Door: MJF vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
AEW World Champion MJF defends his title against the legendary New Japan star Hiroshi Tanahashi at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
MJF spoke expressed a lack of interest in competing at Forbidden Door during the Double or Nothing post-show media scrum.
“Do I have to wrestle at Forbidden Door? Fuck that. It’s a fucking Indie fed. With all due respect, their greatest legend probably couldn’t lace my boots. I think I would make anybody on that roster look silly, and I don’t want to waste my time. I’m a very busy man. I think New Japan Pro-Wrestling sucks. Except that Great-O-Khan guy, he pops me. I like him. Everybody else there is the drizzling shits. It reminds me of a local Indie fed.”
