Cage Warriors 134: Vucenic vs. Hughes 2
Cage Warriors Featherweight Champion Jordan Vucenic and interim champion Paul Hughes will look to settle the score in their highly anticipated rematch at Cage Warriors 134 on Friday 18th March at Indigo at the O2 in London.
Jordan “The Epidemic” Vucenic (8-1) has been sidelined since he beat Morgan Charriere for the title at Cage Warriors 122. The champion was scheduled to make his first title defense against Charriere in a rematch at Cage Warriors 124 but was forced to withdraw due to injury. Vucenic comes into this bout on a six-fight winning streak which includes wins over Konmon Deh and Steve Aimable.
Paul Hughes (8-1) will be looking to avenge his first professional loss when he meets Jordan Vucenic for the second time. Hughes dropped a split decision to Vucenic in a thrilling fight at Cage Warriors 119. The Irishman rebounded from that setback and handed James Hendin his first loss in the pro ranks at Cage Warriors 120. Hughes followed up by defeating Morgan Charriere for the interim featherweight title at the iconic York Hall at Cage Warriors 128.
