Cage Warriors 92: Super Saturday Fight Card
Cage Warriors are returning to the capital for their first London card of 2018 with three title fights and two main cards all in one night. Cage Warriors 92: Super Saturday goes down on Saturday 24th March at Indigo at the O2 in London, England. Cage Warriors bantamweight champion Nathaniel Wood defends his title against Luca Iovine in the main event. Cage Warriors heavyweight champion Mauro Cerilli will defend his title against the Cage Warriors light heavyweight champion Karl Moore.
Cage Warriors bantamweight champion Nathaniel “The Prospect” Wood will make his second title defense in front of his hometown crowd against Luca “Duke” Iovine. Wood (12-3) put on a memorable performance against Josh Reed in his first title defense at Cage Warriors 86 in September. The Prospect made an impressive comeback to knockout Reed after getting hurt early in a crazy brawl that only lasted one round. Iovine (12-1) is on an 8 fight winning streak with the majority of his wins coming in the Shooto promotion.
Cage Warriors heavyweight champion Mauro “The Hammer” Cerilli meets Cage Warriors light heavyweight champion Karl Moore in a heavyweight super fight. The pair were originally scheduled to fight at Cage Warriors 89 before Moore suffered an injury. Cerilli (11-2) battered the replacement opponent Nills van Noord to capture the vacant heavyweight title on the same card. The Irishman Moore defeated Josh Clark to capture the light heavyweight title at Cage Warriors 81 in March.
Sam “The Hobbit” Creasey is scheduled to fight Nathan “Aldo” Greyson for the vacant Cage Warriors flyweight title. Creasey (9-1) was last seen in action scoring an impressive first-round knock out against Paul Marin at Cage Warriors 86 in September. The Hobbit had previously made short work of Iuri Bejenari at Cage Warriors 84 with a first-round submission. Greyson (5-2) trains at Team Titan in North London alongside Brad Pickett, Ashleigh Grimshaw, and Nathaniel Wood. The Team Titan representative has won all of his fights by KO/TKO and is a veteran of the UCMMA organisation. The Cage Warriors flyweight title has been vacant since Neil Seery signed with the UFC and vacated the title. Seery defeated Mikael Silander for the title at Cage Warriors: 55 in June 2013.
