Cage Warriors 97: Jones vs. Formela Preview
Mason “The Dragon” Jones makes his return to the cage against Kacper Formela at Cage Warriors 97 on Saturday 29th September, at the Ice Arena in Cardiff, Wales.
Mason Jones (5-0) put on a dominant performance against Konmon Deh at Cage Warriors 98 in July. Jones is currently in training camp at Urijah Faber’s Ultimate Fitness gym with Team Alpha Male in Sacremento, California. The Welshman has been on the mats with UFC veterans Chad Mendes, Darren Elkins, Danny Castillo and Clay Guida.
Kacper Formela (8-1) is known as the Polish Machida due to his Karate fighting style. Formela comes into the bout riding a 4-fight winning streak with 3 stoppages. The Polak’s lone defeat in professional MMA competition came at the hands of Aiden Lee at Cage Warriors 83.
