Evan “Boy Wonder” Jays will meet Gianpiero Sportelli for the MTGP featherweight world title n at Muay Thai Grand Prix 21 on Saturday 10th November on the Indigo at the O2 Arena in London, England.
Jays was last seen in action against Joe Le Maire at MTGP 17 in July. The Essex based fighter and trainer picked up a points victory against Le Maire. The 19-year-old is a product of Double K and Team Tieu, where he trains under the tutelage of Kieran Keddle and Philip Tieu respectively. Evan also trains alongside the UK’s No. 1 welterweight Charlie Peters and KGP 70kg champion Luke Whelan.
Gianpiero Sportelli is fighting out of Monopoli, Italy.
