MTK MMA Middleweight Champion Dan Vinni will make his first title defense against Alex Montagnani at MTK MMA on Saturday 13th April at York Hall in London.
Dan Vinni (15-15) submitted Patrick Valle with a vicious armbar to capture the inaugural Middleweight title at MTK MMA in October. The veteran fighter has experience fighting under the banners of some of the top MMA promotions including Bellator and Cage Warriors. Vinni has recently been training with Pedro Nogueria Duarte at Cobra Fitness in Abu Dhabi.
Alex Montagnani (11-3-1) will be moving up from the Welterweight division to challenge for the Middleweight belt. Montagnani rebound from a tough loss against Craig White at Cage Warriors 92 to headline the first MTK MMA card in May. Alex scored a first-round stoppage against Shah Hussian in an exciting fight that delivered drama from bell to bell. Montagnani heads up Team Mean and trains with the Savage Squad at the Pound for Pound Gym.
The co-main event will feature Jaz Singh taking on Tayo Odunjo to crown the inaugural MTK MMA Welterweight title. Kayne Isaac will meet Will Timmis for the Amateur RDX MTK Bantamweight title.
