The Professional Fighters League crowned four new champions at the PFL Europe Championship on Friday night at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. The promotion handed out $100,000 to each of the inaugural PFL European champions.

  • Weslley Maia derailed the highly touted Lewis McGrillen in a thrilling bantamweight contest. The GB Top Team representive
  • UFC and Bellator veteran Brett Johnes put on a brutal display in his promotional debut against David Tonatiuh Crol. Johnes announced his intention to follow in the footsteps of Brendan Loughnane and pursue the million dollar prize in the global league.
  • PFL Europe debutant Tom Breese racked up another first round submission with a slick rear naked choke against Cleiton Silva. Breese improves to 18-4 and earned his third submission in a row.
  • Kikadze Bondo (8-3-1) spoiled the debut of the former Cage Warriors Bantamweight Champion Dom Wooding with a wrestling heavy strategy that neutralised Wooding’s striking. Referee Rich Mitchell deducted a point from Bondo in the second round after he landed repeated elbows. Kikadze Bondo stepped in to replace an injured Ben Davies and claimed an impressive scalp for his promotional debut.
  • Connor Hughes rebound from his first professional loss with a dominant win against Sebastian Santana Guedes. Hughes made it clear that wants. The referee called an end to the fight after Guedes was unable to continue at the end of round 2.
