UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic retained his title against Francis Ngannou in the main event at UFC 22O on Saturday night at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts

UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic broke the record for the most consecutive title defenses in the history of the UFC heavyweight division with his dominant win over Francis Ngannou. Miocic used his superior wrestling and boxing to push Ngannou into the deep waters in this five round war. Traditionally UFC president Dana White places the title belt around the champion’s waist during the post-fight ceremonies. Miocic took the belt from White’s hands and passed it to his coach Marcus Marinelli to handle the honors.
